Sometimes the system in your Jarreau home never stops running, it just stops working well: uneven rooms, sticky air, climbing bills. We measure instead of guess at what's dragging on performance.
Not every Air Conditioning Repair call in Jarreau is a broken system — plenty run constantly, cool unevenly, or leave the air feeling clammy despite the thermostat reading right. We check static pressure, return sizing, and refrigerant charge together, since these complaints are rarely caused by just one thing, so we test all three.
The approach that separates a real fix from a temporary patch.
We test register airflow, duct static pressure, and coil temperature split, not just whether the unit runs instead of a quick 'seems fine' check.
Comfort calls get scheduled within days, techs based locally around Jarreau, LA, not weeks.
The assessment fee is disclosed upfront and applied to any approved repair, credited toward repairs.
Anemometers and manometers measure airflow and pressure rather than estimating by feel, not guesswork.
The most common Jarreau comfort complaints, and how we resolve them.
We measure airflow at each register and check duct sizing to find where the imbalance starts before recommending dampers or resizing.
Sticky air often means the system is short-cycling or oversized, not properly pulling moisture out — we check both together.
A climbing bill usually traces to one or more of these three, and we check each during the visit.
We measure static pressure directly, since excess pressure quietly shortens blower motor life.
Charge issues rarely throw an obvious error, so we verify against factory targets.
Coil and filter condition get checked together, since the two problems reinforce each other.
What to expect from a performance call.
Describe the comfort complaint and we schedule an assessment and we'll get it scheduled.
The measurement tools come already staged — no return trip for gauges.
We walk through the numbers first, then quote a flat-rate fix.
We re-test after the repair to confirm performance actually improved, not just assumed.
Reviews from actual diagnostic visits.
Second floor was always warmer than the first no matter what we set the thermostat to. Turned out the return duct was undersized for that whole level.
— W. Renaud, homeowner
Electric bill jumped almost $80 in a single month with no lifestyle change. They found a refrigerant undercharge that a previous company missed entirely.
— A. Sokolov, homeowner
Basement always felt swampy even when the AC ran constantly. Turns out the system was oversized for the space, adjusting settings fixed it without new equipment.
— G. Nakamura, homeowner
We assumed our old ductwork was fine since the house 'felt okay.' The pressure test showed otherwise and the fix noticeably improved airflow upstairs.

What people usually ask first.
Often fixable with duct sealing or damper adjustment, not a full redesign, but we measure before recommending either.
Cooling fast without running long enough to pull moisture is the common culprit.
Duct leakage losses show up directly on the bill.
Smaller fixes happen same visit, bigger jobs get quoted separately.
Efficiency losses are often invisible until the bill arrives — the assessment catches them early.
Typically under two hours for airflow, pressure, and charge.
